Description
The 'Yellow' line of tooling is designed specifically for cutting stainless steel alloys.
The 'Basher' line is designed for aggressive roughing and machine tools capable of spindle speeds up to 20K rpm. It incorporates our proprietary flute surface treatment producing a high lubricity finish specially optimized to handle a wide variety of cutting conditions. The design incorporates our special blend of fully variable geometry (including helix, pitch, spacing, location and size) as well as aggressive chip breakers designed to reduce chip size. This line of cutting tools is not designed to produce finish surfaces, but rather to achieve maximum material removal rates.
'B' form tools utilize more than one corner radius to create a tip geometry that is more suitable for feed-milling, or concave dish milling with large effective radius. The flank of the tool is straight, so one can consider this form most similar to 'R' but with two radii.
